About Our Founder

Full Frontal Beauty & Esthetics officially launched and quickly blossomed in the Fall of 2019. Kira Nation Igbowu, founder and Brooklyn native, has rooted and watered this labor of love for over a decade.

Kira is a licensed esthetician and is no newbie to the beauty industry. From starting in men’s skincare to then transitioning to women’s, her background with over twenty-five years of experience is extensive. Kira’s obsession with beauty is something that has always been a part of her story. Holding high leveled titles, Kira has launched various beauty and skincare brands into major outlets, like Bloomingdales, Barneys New York, Neiman Marcus, Saks 5th Avenue and Sephora. While working for big-name companies, such as Procter & Gamble and Shiseido, Kira was able to gain a ton of knowledge that would both challenge and ignite her passions, making her more curious than ever about the business of skincare.

She came to the realization that her passion lies deep in helping, educating and catering to people whose skin looks like hers.  Beauty comes in all ages, colors, shapes, and sizes. Often though, “melanated” skin isn’t addressed the way it should be. Kira’s experience in the beauty industry showed her the beneficial results of using healthy, plant-based products on your skin. She’s now implemented this knowledge into her own business. With hyperpigmentation and many other skin conditions affecting Black and Brown men and women everyday, Kira reminds her clients that since your skin is your biggest organ, you must treat it with loving care.

The services Kira provides at Full Frontal Beauty & Esthetics doesn’t stop with skin. Making sure her clients' lashes and brows look flawless is another way she makes sure everyone leaves looking and feeling brand new. 

Kira is always coming up with new ideas to better herself as an entrepreneur.  From becoming a Certified Ambassador for a few of her favorite brands like Dermalogica and GlymedPlus, to planning cool, innovative events for the future, this is just the beginning for all that Kira and Full Frontal Beauty & Esthetics has in store.
