About Kira

Full Frontal Beauty & Esthetics officially launched in Fall 2019, but for founder Kira Nation Igbowu, this work has been decades in the making.

A Brooklyn native and licensed esthetician, Kira brings over twenty-five years of experience across the beauty and skincare industry. Her career began in men’s grooming before expanding into women’s skincare, ultimately spanning brand development, education, and retail strategy. Over the years, she has helped launch and scale multiple beauty brands into major luxury retailers including Bloomingdale’s, Barneys New York, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Sephora.

Kira has held senior roles with global companies such as Procter & Gamble and Shiseido, experiences that sharpened both her technical expertise and her understanding of the business of beauty. While those roles were influential, they also clarified something essential: her passion lies in direct care, education, and serving skin that looks like hers.

Much of Kira’s work centers on addressing the unique needs of melanated skin—particularly concerns such as hyperpigmentation, inflammation, and barrier health that are often misunderstood or underserved. Her approach is rooted in results-driven, corrective care using thoughtful formulations and practices that respect the skin as the body’s largest organ. The philosophy is simple but intentional: skin should be treated with patience, knowledge, and care.

At Full Frontal Beauty & Esthetics, services extend beyond the face. Precision brow and lash work, advanced corrective treatments, and restorative therapies are all designed to help clients leave feeling grounded, confident, and quietly transformed—never overdone.

Kira continues to evolve as both a practitioner and studio owner, with ongoing education and refinement at the core of her work. She is trained in lymphatic drainage through Cecily Braden, certified in Buccal (Intraoral) Massage Therapy through Joanna Tringali, and collaborates with select professional skincare brands on education, product integration, and in-studio activations. Every offering is built with intention, consistency, and respect for long-term skin health.
